Step-out for ARKN, an Original Tangle by Cindy Rae Fancher, CZT®

On the third day of the Finding Your Creative Bones® devotional, I was thinking of Noah and what an experience he and his family had. To live for 40 days in close quarters with family and the animals has to be something I can't fathom. Normally tangles, by design, do not directly represent something so concretely.


The little boat seemed so obvious for the days' reflection, and I could not resist creating my version of the Ark. I liked putting 4 ARKNs together and seeing the almost flower shape that was made. I hope you enjoy creating ARKN.




Within the Day 3 blog and book, I tangled ARKN on a watercolor background, shown below. I love the simplicity of a single tangle on a Golden QoR watercolor background using a Micron 01 fine liner. The step-out also uses a red Micron 01 fine liner. I did not include any shading on the step-out above.
