Day 290 - Love Can Truly Bring Perfection into Your Life

It's true love can truly bring perfection into your life.

As saints of God, then, holy and dearly loved, let your behaviour be marked by pity and mercy, kind feeling, a low opinion of yourselves, gentle ways, and a power of undergoing all things;

Being gentle to one another and having forgiveness for one another, if anyone has done wrong to his brother, even as the Lord had forgiveness for you:

And more than all, have love; the only way in which you may be completely joined together. (Colossians 3.12-14 Bible in Basic English (BBE))

Love is the one true band of perfection for a human being. God's love for all things, Jesus Christ's love for humanity, the Holy Spirit's love for righteousness, and continually spreading God's love to others. We have wonderful champions in all three. All three are helping us in their special way. With them, how can we ever truly suffer? Only when we forget their wonder and power can we fall into the deepest sorrow where we are at great peril. Try not to sink into sorrow; pray for assistance and rescue from the enemy's ways, and it will come.

Prayer:

Keep me in your love, Lord, and help me keep you in mine. Sometimes, I falter and become weak. You see it, save me from the depths of anguish, for I do not want to be vulnerable to the enemy. I want to be yours, and Jesus's forever. Heal me, save me, and love me always. I perpetually have a song of praise for you in my heart and mind because your love lifts my heart. I need to bring your song to my lips continuously; in hearing it, my pain lessens, and your strength flows freely within me. I love you, Lord, and thank you always. I believe that love can truly bring perfection into my life. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen
