If you keep God first, God finds no harm in marriage.
Keeping the Lord first in our hearts, soul, and minds can become challenging when we marry, especially if we choose a spouse who is not a Christian. God is aware, which is why 1 Corinthians speaks on this topic. There is hope that the Christian spouse will bring the other to Christ.
God finds no harm in marriage and supports it, but he also knows that there will be times it is complicated to keep the Lord first, yet we must if we are to follow the first commandment and all it means. The Lord must come first above all else, for when the time comes, and we are with the Lord, our adoration of him will consume our future. It is natural that it should also be valid here on Earth.
Prayer:
Father, you know my heart. Please help those I love to begin or continue following you. Help me guide them to you through my words and actions. Instill in me the capability to inspire them to yearn for your love, the desire to put you first in their lives. Allow my peace to shine as a light for their journey to find, know and love you. I understand you are waiting for them. It will be a joyful activity to help them find you. Thank you for the opportunity. Amen.

What a lovely prayer! Have a wonderful day!
I love the prayer.
God has been in Rich's and my marriage for the entire 56 years come July 29th! While there have been challenges, lots of happy times, some unhappy times, but God is with us throughout them all!
