When to walk away and use only my prayers.
Today we are reminded that we risk our beliefs when we spend time with those who do not believe. We are greatly affected by those we spend time with and the company we keep. Most of us probably heard this from our parents, which we did not want to hear or think of. It has been a reminder for a very long time.
For it is no business of mine to be judging those who are outside; but it is yours to be judging those who are among you; As for those who are outside, God is their judge. So put away the evil man from among you. (1 Corinthians 5.12-13 Bible in Basic English (BBE))
You may have reason to be concerned if you continue to stay in contact with those who do not believe and act as believers do. Slowly like a river eroding the bank to consume the good soil, you risk the good in you being consumed. You may become weaker and weaker in your convictions. Be cautious about convincing yourself that you are immune, which may be warning you that you may already be lost.
Prayer:
God, you are the judge of all humans. I do not want to judge, but I see I can choose those in my life. It is my responsibility to be wise.
Holy Spirit, the instructor of wisdom, please help me every day make sound choices for those I spend time with. Guide my decisions and my heart. If I can help someone find God, let me do that, but protect me from the evil they may have if they cannot be convinced. Let me know when to walk away, and use only my prayers to help them. I look to the Holy Trinity to keep me from allowing anything to tear me away from the Lord, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus Christ. Amen.

CONVICTION
Read the scripture in context on the Bible in Basic English (BBE) website.
Cindy Rae, you make a strong point about the friends we keep. You have inspired me to be even more selective. Btw, what is the purpose of the ZenTangle drawings? Do they have meaning for you? Or just art? Thank you for your answer
Thanks for sharing this. It's my belief that we are all G-d's children and can love and accept each other despite our differences in faith.
Pray to God for guidance in all you do.
