When Israel arrived at the river Jordan, God performed another water miracle.
And when the feet of the priests who take up the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, come to rest in the waters of Jordan, the waters of Jordan will be cut off, all the waters flowing down from higher up, and will come together in a mass. So when the people went out from their tents to go over Jordan, the priests who took up the ark of the agreement were in front of the people; And when those who took up the ark came to Jordan, and the feet of the priests who took up the ark were touching the edge of the water (for the waters of Jordan are overflowing all through the time of the grain-cutting), Then the waters flowing down from higher up were stopped and came together in a mass a long way back at Adam, a town near Zarethan; and the waters flowing down to the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, were cut off: and the people went across opposite Jericho. And the priests who took up the ark of the agreement of the Lord kept their places, with their feet on dry land in the middle of Jordan, while all Israel went over on dry land, till all the nation had gone over Jordan. (Joshua 3.13-17 Bible in Basic English (BBE))
When Israel arrived at the river Jordan, the river was flowing, perhaps overflowing. They waited three days. God spoke to Joshua to let him know there was no need for fear and that he would stop the waters from flowing so that, once again, Israel could have safe passage through water and that Israel would know that Joshua was God's choice to replace Moses as their leader. Again Israel was blessed with seeing the power of God.
We may not be able to see such miracles, yet do not fear; stand with gentleness in your faith. Demonstrate that you are a living example of what Jesus Christ offers us in this life. Show that you walk in the kingdom here and now by being as Jesus was. Trusting, loving, forgiving, gentle, full of mercy, soft-hearted, and all that is good. You can do this, you can be an example, and through this, you can be happy and joy-filled, and you can play a part in leading others to our Lord.
Prayer:
God of all miracles, I may never see a river stopped so that I can pass through it, but I believe it happened and could happen again if it suited your purpose. I do not have to see to believe. I am yours. Use me to grow the faith and belief of others in you and your potential. Help me show your love and be a tool in your plan. To ensure that all come to know you while they can. Please open my eyes to the miracles I may miss so I can rejoice in your majesty every time. I don't want to miss any part of your glory. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray with love. Amen.

What stands out to me is that the water parted when the priests stepped into the river. Faith is taking action on God's word without any evidence that what He said will come true. That's the kind of faith I want to have. ~ Florence
