How often are you caught talking about the Lord?
So give ear, O Israel, and take care to do this; so that it may be well for you, and you may be greatly increased, as the Lord the God of your fathers has given you his word, in a land flowing with milk and honey. Give ear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord: And the Lord your God is to be loved with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. Keep these words, which I say to you this day, deep in your hearts; Teaching them to your children with all care, talking of them when you are at rest in your house or walking by the way, when you go to sleep and when you get up. Let them be fixed as a sign on your hand, and marked on your brow; Have them lettered on the pillars of your houses and over the doors of your towns. (Deuteronomy 6.3-9 Bible in Basic English (BBE))
This scripture reminds us we must speak of the Lord with others. Discuss the Lord, his grace, wisdom, gifts, and our world's beauty. These topics and more are for us to discuss and tell others about. Is it difficult for you? Many people find it difficult. Perhaps this scripture can help you feel more comfortable. We are to speak of the Lord continuously, to share his love and the love we are receiving with others so they, too, can grow their relationship with Jesus, Our Father, and the Holy Spirit.
Release your hesitation and start sharing. The more you share, the easier it becomes. Informing others of God is a true gift you can share. The funny thing is you may find you are the one receiving the gift. You may find great joy in talking about the Lord.
Prayer:
Loving Father, sometimes I am uncomfortable sharing my love for you. I apologize. Help me start sharing, lead my voice as I try to tell as many as possible of your love. It is immense, and keeping it to myself may be sinful and most likely neglectful of others. I may be the only person they will meet that can change their life. To withhold the opportunity is wrong. Strengthen my voice and let my passion for you lead the way. I pray for this with the picture of Jesus in my mind and heart. Amen.

Learn how to draw SNAIL. The step-by-step for SNAIL is found on the Tangle Patterns site and was drawn by Sayantika Ray. I LOVE the Tangle Patterns site! I doubt there is a day I do not access it. If I spend a few minutes on the site, I am energized and ready to be creative. This linked page has a bonus at the bottom, a YouTube video with Maria Thomas drawing Bijou, who I think of as the Tangler's mascot!
Read the 1st scripture in context on the Bible in Basic English (BBE) website.
BONUS PRINTABLE - I created an 8.5x11 printable today with a portion of the scripture and my version of SNAIL. Please feel free to download it for your personal use. God bless! Cindy Rae
