Day 349 - Anoint Me Today With Your Healing Love

Heavenly Father, please anoint me today with your healing love.

Why do human beings choose to bury themselves in regret, sorrow, and other anguish? This results in our turning our backs to the Lord. We don't want to turn away from the Lord, yet we do. Many choose to do it every day of their lives. What differences would you see if you compared yourself to your friend or family member who suffers versus one who is a believer and firm in their commitment to their faith?

Do you know the Lord is waiting for you or their cry for support? He gives us a choice, so if we choose sorrow, he will stand aside. Do you know who is not standing aside? Satan. Satan is joyfully and gleefully relishing the sorrow, the anxiety, and the separation from God you or they are experiencing. You can stop the hurt, run to the Lord, or encourage anyone troubled to do the same.

Prayer:

Lord, anoint me today with your healing love. I do not want to suffer any longer. I ask you to stop Satan from hurting me and those I love and care for. Please give me the courage to face my concerns and turn my back on them and my face to your glorious presence. I love you and know you are the only one who can save me and others. With gratitude, I plea for your help, forgiveness, and healing. I pray in Jesus Christ's name. Amen
