Day 348 - Return to the Lamb of God

Finding Your Creative Bones® 365-Day Devotional © 2023

Ask for forgiveness, and return to the Lamb of God.

God is not a man. Jesus is so much more than the human he was on earth. We are humans created in the image of God, yet essentially so different. We have choices, a gift from God that allows us to create our lives as God created us. Choice is a blessing with a darker side that we must be aware of. Through choice, we can leave behind what we know and love and be left lost and feeling forsaken. Though we are not. A wall seems to form that keeps God, and Jesus veiled or hidden from us. Yet they are not; we think that way often because of shame. Again, we can choose to remove the veil if we choose God. Pray for forgiveness and the power to destroy the barrier you feel. Return to the Lamb. Choice is a powerful and destructive gift or curse. You must choose your path, but prayer can significantly minimize the struggle, for the Lord is always waiting for your call.

Prayer:

Loving Lord, I choose you and your precious Son, the Lamb of God. I thank you for the ability to choose the life I want to pursue, and I bless you for the life I gain with you. My life is so much more beautiful than I ever dreamed it could be. You are gracious, kind, and all love. In truth, you are the most critical thought in my days. You, doing the right things, and family are all that matters. Forgive my sins and help me never to repeat them. Please guide me in our journey. I pray in Jesus Christ's name. Amen
