Have you ever considered and pictured what it will be like when you meet God?
And to my ears came the voice of everything in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and of all things which are in them, saying, To him who is seated on the high seat, and to the Lamb, may blessing and honour and glory and power be given for ever and ever. (Revelation 5.13 Bible in Basic English (BBE))
Have you ever imagined what it will be like when you meet God? What will you see? What will he look like? Will he smile and say come closer, my child, so that I can see your beautiful face? Will his brilliance blind you? Will you be speechless in awe of his glory and majesty? Will tears stream down your cheeks as you realize that you have been blessed to meet your creator, that everything you expected and dreamed of happens, and so much more? Will a great moment of understanding occur to you as the mystery of all unfolds before your eyes? Will you weep for joy while laughing as a child when you realize that Jesus stands surrounded by all those that you loved in your life and Jesus invites you into his loving arms? What will it be like to feel love for the first time in every part of your body, mind, and heart? To realize that every part of you is infused with the glory of his love. What will he say, or will his hug be all the endearment you need?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I do not want to rush my time here on earth, but I know that one day when my time here is over, I am ready and excited to enter your heavenly kingdom. I bless you for creating me and giving me a beautiful life. Lord, comfort those who love me with the knowledge that I journeyed home to you and that I truly know there is no better place to be. You bless me daily, and I thank you for all I have become and will be. Let me continue to serve you and journey along the path you call me to walk as long as it is your will. I love you, and I am always yours. I pray in Jesus Christ's name. Amen
