Day 335 - Make the Faith of Daniel, My Faith

Heavenly Father, make the faith of Daniel my faith so I can work for you.

Then King Darius sent a letter to all the peoples, nations, and languages, living in all the earth: May your peace be increased.

It is my order that in all the kingdom of which I am ruler, men are to be shaking with fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, unchanging for ever, and his kingdom is one which will never come to destruction, his rule will go on to the end.

He gives salvation and makes men free from danger, and does signs and wonders in heaven and earth, who has kept Daniel safe from the power of the lions. (Daniel 6.25-27 Bible in Basic English (BBE))

No other description is needed for our God. It will take a lifetime to understand these few words.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, through precious Jesus, you are my savior and the deliverer from all my trials. You protect me and bless me, yet you allow me choice. I am grateful for your faith in me and the certainty of my knowledge that you are King. King of all justice, mercy, and grace. I seek you constantly and ask only for your love and guidance. You, the living God, are my God, and I am yours forever. Make the faith of Daniel, my faith, make me as strong as I need to be to fight your battles. I pray in Jesus Christ's name. Amen
