Sacred and Holy to the Lord
You are to make a plate of the best gold, cutting on it, as on a stamp, these words: HOLY TO THE LORD. (Exodus 28:36 Bible in Basic English (BBE))
Yesterday, we talked about creating a sacred space within yourself for the Lord. Take care of yourself and craft your holy place to share with the Lord, but do not stop there. Remember to follow the Lord's instruction and mark your space as Holy to the Lord as in Exodus. Remain in prayer and stand faithful in continuous action. Repent and be free from the oppression of guilt. Open your heart and mind to the possibilities your walk with the Lord can bring. Only God knows where the walk may take you. Journey in faith, build your sacred space, and pray with sincerity.
Watch and be ready. Are you ready? Are you awake or asleep in your faith journey? There is still time. But no one knows when the clock will run out.
Prayer:
Father, do not let me sleep on my watch. Please assist me in building a sacred temple within myself that I protect and nurture daily. I love you, and I know that is all you ask of me, but I want to give you more. I want to help others feel this way toward you. To do this, I must refill my energy and wonder at your majesty. The wonder is like fuel to a fire ready to spread at your command. As a human, I recognize that I am frail in my ability to remain continuously strong, to be that fire for you. I beg you to poke me into flame when I waver. I will do my best to rekindle the fire of love I feel for you as I travel through my life. I gratefully accept this assignment and the joy you give me through it. Today I pray for strength and the clarity to mark the sacred space within me as "Holy to the Lord". Amen,

REKINDLE
Read the scripture in context using the Bible in Basic English.
I actually chuckled reading the 'do not sleep on my watch' part because it's so great a reminder for today's wise words.
