Finding Your Creative Bones® 365-Day Devotional © 2023
God knows you and waits.
Before you were born, he knew who you could be or perhaps what you would become.
He made and knew every blade of grass, every tree and leaf. Why would he not know you?
He made everything possible before you were born. He knew you and rejoiced.
Why, then, might you worry so over what is to come? He knows and waits. Your Father has given himself the gift of complete patience as an example for you.
Patience, Patience, Patience.
Where do you need to allow yourself the tender mercy of patience?
Where do you need to liberate your worry and turn it into peace? You might want to eliminate your worry, but wonder how?
Ask through prayer or a single thought for help. Fervently, with your heart, pray for the removal of worry and an abundance of peace to replace it. You can do this. Perhaps it will take time and ease slowly, but continue with faith, knowing it will come. God knows you and waits for your call.
He gives power to the feeble, increasing the strength of him who has no force. (Isaiah 40.29 Bible in Basic English (BBE)
Prayer:
Holy all-knowing and patient, Lord, I lean into your love today, hoping that you can help me remove the worry from my life. This weakness can easily consume my peace, and I want to permanently turn it over to you and my faith. I believe it is possible and want to grow my patience to the level where I never grow frustrated or intolerant of time. Everything comes as it should, but why do I grow impatient when I know this? Remove this intolerance of you from my life. I do not accept that it is okay to think I can command you when it should be the other way around. Forgive my disrespect. Heal my stubbornness and impatience, forgive me, and keep me in your light. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen

Heal my stubbornness and impatience, forgive me, and keep me in your light.
I like the tangle going beyond the color boundary. This tangle is very pleasing to my patience cells.
