Unsurprisingly, God had a plan to bring all people to belief.
It is with immense gratitude that we recognize and cheer that Jesus brought the non-Jewish peoples to God. While many Gentiles believed in God, they did not always believe in God, the Father. Through the Apostle's teaching and including Gentiles in the hearing stories and truths of Jesus's and God's love, a doorway was opened for the non-Jewish to become believers. This was God's plan to bring all people to belief.
Amos 9 in the Old Testament presented prophecies for us to know that God would make a way for all peoples to come to him. That way was and still is today, Jesus Christ. It is beautiful to see the Lord spinning the thread of Christianity throughout the Bible, not just the New Testament. Scripture foretells the birth and impact of Jesus throughout the Old Testament. Can people still doubt that there is no redemption through Jesus?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, you created a plan to enable our escape from the sin of our humanness. You knew we would have to learn and understand how magnificent your love is over time. No words are good, bright, or generous enough to describe your passion and gifts to us. You knew our will would make bringing us back to you more difficult, but you waited, planned the future, laid the foundation, and acted at the most appropriate times. You are a beautiful Lord and a master planner in every way. Thank you for loving us, me, so much. I, too, love you and ask you to continue unfolding your plans and my destiny. In Jesus's name, I pray with great love. Amen
