Eliminate your doubts; believers can strengthen their faith.
There will always be those who doubt. That is as it is. The question is what we, as believers, do when we are confronted with doubt and disbelief. Do we stop and go away, or do we, as rational, good Christians, continue to stand in our belief that Jesus Christ redeemed all who came to believe and that God, our one true Father, makes all things possible if we are with him?
The Sanhedrin confronted and questioned the Apostles after the beggar's healing. Peter and John were filled by the Holy Spirit and responded.
But Peter and John in answer said to them, It is for you to say if it is right in the eyes of God to give attention to you more than to God: For it is not possible for us to keep from saying what we have seen and have knowledge of. And when they had said more sharp words to them, they let them go, not seeing what punishment they might give them, because of the people; for all men were giving praise to God for what had taken place. (Acts 4.19-21 Bible in Basic English (BBE))
This wisdom is of value and encouragement to you. If you think about everything you do or say, asking yourself whether it is righteous in the eyes of God, you will be strengthened and no doubt filled with the Holy Spirit to continually stand and be strong in your faith and action. Able to continue moving forward with the Lord rather than moving away.
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, fill me with your spirit when I need to be most vital. Please fill me with your wisdom to have the words I should speak and the actions I should take. You know everyone I meet and know how the Father wants us to approach them. Please guide me in every way you can. I know that believers can strengthen their faith with your help. I thank you, Holy Spirit. I see you continuously in my life. You are a hero in my life, and I look up to you and your wisdom. Please help me be the best person for God that I can be. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen
