Understanding that Jesus is God is important to your belief.
Jesus speaks of the Apostles and all people to God.
I in them, and you in me, so that they may be made completely one, and so that it may become clear to all men that you have sent me and that they are loved by you as I am loved by you. (John 17.23 Bible in Basic English (BBE))
Quite often, Jesus prayed about us to the Father in the New Testament, especially as it grew close to the time of his capture. His prayer makes it more apparent that he was God with us and in us as a man—the wonder of this thought.
Jesus is God; Jesus is with you and in you.
If Jesus is in you, God must be in you.
If Jesus is in you, the Holy Spirit,
Jesus's helper is in you, guiding and giving you wisdom.
Jesus is in you. Jesus is your salvation.
You are truly loved, can become wiser, and are saved from your sins through the redemption of Jesus Christ.
Prayer:
Holy Father, thank you for Jesus. Thank you for loving me completely and giving me everything I need. I only have to accept, and I do. Father, help me better understand how I can become more holy and gracious with the love you have given me. Your capacity to love is infinite. Is mine? I have to assume it must be with you in me. Teach me how to walk through each day, demonstrating the love that Jesus showed all, even the Pharisees. There is much I am not seeing or understanding. Please help me become more aware and knowledgeable. My life is so much happier, with you being my first thought. I appreciate your love so much; my loneliness is lessening every day. The hollowness in my heart fills as I learn more and feel more for you, God. I think of you, Lord, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit as my reef of protection, just as a reef offshore protects a coastline from the sea and storms. Thank you for these gifts, being my reef, and always protecting me. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen
