God's Response to Prayer.
The call to pray with a genuine belief that God will hear us is found throughout the Bible. Jesus was an excellent example; he prayed at all times.
The power of prayer should not be underestimated. Prayer can do beautiful things in your life and positively impact your world. We can all change our circumstances and feelings about them through prayer.
No sorrow is too deep, no illness so bleak, no desperation so dire that prayer to our loving Father will not provide comfort if we allow it.
He will intercede for you just as Jesus did for all he healed. What we need will be delivered. What occurs may not be what we pray for. Be confident, though. God hears you and acts. Jesus sets the example for our faith regarding prayer and God. It is God's will to be done, not ours.
Prayer:
Father, I pray but do not always recognize your answer. My humanity cries out for what I want, and I apologize. Ease my mind to understand that my prayers were answered and that goodness will result. It may be good; I don't realize I need it. I accept that.
Forgive my lack of patience and annoyance when I cannot see the truth or the answer I expect. Erase those thoughts from my mind so I can realize your love.
Create a mind of acceptance and genuine belief that does not waver from fatigue or worry so that I may serve where you see a need.
Holy Father, I embrace your love and care with heartfelt passion and ask in Jesus Christ's name for the spirit to pray always and in all ways. Amen
