Day 129 - God is Calling You to Accept and Act on Your Destiny

Finding Your Creative Bones® 365-Day Devotional © 2023

Will you accept and act on your destiny?

Solomon had incredible work to achieve and a tremendous burden to build the Lord's temple. He knew he had to build it and was blessed to be chosen for the job. But there must have been days when he wished to be like everyone else. It is the same for you.

God is calling you to accept and act on your destiny.

As Solomon's father, David, told him, he had a destiny to fulfill. As David and Solomon did, every human has a future waiting for fulfillment. Do you accept your role in your destiny? Or do you struggle against it or ignore it?

Prayer:

Father, I want to move forward.

Heavenly Father, I need your help to become who you call me to be. To fulfill your will, sometimes I have no idea what you desire for me, but I am here listening, praying, and crying out for your guidance. You are the one faithful Lord, and at your side, Jesus, together with your spirit, please encourage, enlighten, and engage me in action to fulfill my mission and destiny. Pick me up when I stumble and wipe my tears as I try to do what you call me to do. I trust together; we will get there.

Amen.

Sending your prayer as my prayer. Thanks for words I might not have found today, yet need to say.
