Day 117 - A Love For God That Spills Over To All We Meet

If only everyone had a love for God that spills over to all we meet.

Day after day, you have choices, for the Lord gave you the right to decide. This is the result of Eve asserting her independence in the garden. That first bite from the Tree of Knowledge forever changed our destinies. Some might say it was the day we were cursed.

We were cursed with decisions, indecision, good and evil, small and significant. What would it be like, and how different would our lives be if we had no wars and no disregard for one another? If only everyone had a love for God that spills over to all we meet.

Perhaps the challenge for you is to create this world to the best of your abilities and to cry out to the Lord to do the rest. Imagine if everyone did this. What would this world be like? You can begin to enact this world with your actions. With others, you can, through faith, begin to change the world together with God.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, fill my head and heart with the desire to do all I can to build the kingdom of God on the earth, in the here and now. I believe that with you, Jesus, and our Heavenly Father, the world can evolve and become as God wills. God wants us to be happy and spend our days loving him and one another. We have strayed as people from our Father on many occasions, perhaps some every day. Give me ideas on what actions I can take to bring change to our beautiful lives and world. We are so blessed to live in these days, yet many suffer. Please give me the courage to help. With the Holy Trinity by my side and in my heart, I know I can make a difference. Thank you for the opportunity. Amen.
